Amy Mutispaugh
When a drowning claimed the life of her four year old son Evan, Amy Mutispaugh turned to God for her own survival. Through prayer, scripture meditation, and a strong pursuit of the will of God, she has found beauty for ashes. She discovered Infant Swim Resource, a survival swimming program for infants and children. Upon her daughter’s completion of the program, Amy has made it her mission to inform the masses that a program like this exists. She has teamed up with ISR instructor, JoAnna Gilkey of Owasso, OK, to speak about Evan’s story and ISR.
Amy’s story and ISR has recently been featured on several local media outlets, Army Corps of Engineers, Safe Kids Tulsa, and recently has made a connection with the American Academy of Pediatrics Tulsa Chapter. Amy has vowed that if God opens the doors, she will walk through it to tell Evan’s story in the hopes of not one more child drowning.
